Commercial Procurement Manager - Field/Home Based | Up to £55,000
Location: Field/Home Based (with occasional Head Office attendance)

Are you a strategic, commercially minded professional with a passion for driving supplier performance and delivering value across operations? Butler Rose are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Procurement Manager to join a dynamic and growing organisation within the hospitality and retail sector.
This is a field-based position with regular travel to suppliers, operational sites, and occasional visits to Head Office for key meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement & Supplier Management
Lead the planning, negotiation, and management of key supply contracts across the business (excluding drinks supply), ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality service delivery. - Project Leadership
Take ownership of cross-functional commercial projects and initiatives, collaborating with key stakeholders and leading from the front. - Logistics Oversight
Oversee delivery performance and ensure robust logistics operations across the supply chain. - Service Optimisation
Monitor service contracts and use data to improve service delivery and return on investment-particularly around field operations and specialist services. - Team Leadership
Manage and develop a team of Commercial Executives, ensuring delivery of department objectives and maintaining high performance. - Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal departments including Operations, Finance, and Central Support to align commercial strategies with business needs. - Licensee Support
Drive initiatives that enhance support for the company's partner sites, helping them to operate efficiently and profitably. - Fleet Management
Oversee the company car fleet in collaboration with the wider Commercial team.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in a Commercial or Procurement Manager role
- Strong leadership skills, with previous line management experience
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and negotiation abilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Highly organised, proactive, and capable of working autonomously
- Proficient in MS Office tools
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
Working Relationships:
Internal
Collaboration with Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams.
External
Suppliers, logistics partners, and sector-specific service providers.
Travel & Working Arrangements:
This role is field-based and will require regular travel across the UK to attend meetings with suppliers, field-based teams, and support business operations. Occasional Head Office visits will also be necessary.
