This is a unique and compelling chance to shape procurement from the ground up within a progressive and innovative environment - one of the first key hires in this exciting transformation!
In this newly established role, you will lead the IT procurement agenda, partnering with senior stakeholders to streamline, organise and drive transformation in a role that you can really make your own. You'll play a central part in embedding robust supplier governance while delivering strategic outcomes across IT categories and so will have previous knowledge of SaaS, cloud services, software, and digital technologies / licensing agreements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across IT categories working with key stakeholders
* Create and deliver category strategies to unlock cost savings and drive value
* Manage supplier relationships and oversee contract performance
* Ensure compliance with procurement policies, risk protocols, and governance
* Align procurement strategies with overarching business goals
Candidate Profile
* Demonstrable experience in IT procurement licensing, including knowledge of SaaS and cloud based agreements
* Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation expertise
* Skilled at stakeholder management and supplier engagement at senior levels
* Proficient in managing tenders, spend analysis, and driving measurable results - proficient in complex contract management and good S2P experience

This is a full-time, fixed-term position focused on the procurement of strategically important contracts essential to the continuity and quality of frontline services. The role forms part of the organisation's corporate Procurement team, working within a well-established Commercial Services function.
As a key member of the team, you will engage with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver value-for-money outcomes, drive commercial performance, and ensure that procurement activity supports service delivery across a range of categories.

The role's aim will be to implement an overall procurement strategy and to deliver maximum efficiency and productivity for the organisation, in addition to bringing a wealth of technical procurement experience that will allow you to operate as a subject matter expert to the business for all things relating to the agreement and management of supplier and client contracts.
The role is hybrid with the requirement to be on site at the companies head office in the City of London, twice per week.
The role would suit a procurement professional with experience in services/indirect spend.
Duties include:
Support the development, implementation, and management of the Procurement strategy, ensuring customer satisfaction, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including market analysis, strategic supplier sourcing, tendering, pricing, contract negotiation and supplier on boarding.Implement and manage a supplier tiering structure based on performance.Lead proactive supplier management, including regular performance reviews, supply chain consolidation, and demonstrating value to stakeholders.Act as a key business partner for resolving performance or commercial issues, owning escalations to achieve timely resolution.Drive continuous improvement by simplifying and automating processes to enhance efficiency.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers ranging from specialists to multinationals.Maintain a firm but fair approach in supplier dealings, handling challenges professionally.Incorporate environmental and ethical considerations into supply chain decisions to support sustainability goals.To be chosen for the role:
