Butler Rose are working with a well-established accountancy and business advisory firm in the North West who are looking to appoint an experienced Insolvency Case Administrator to join their busy corporate insolvency team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has solid experience across corporate insolvency case work and is confident managing cases from initial handover through to appointment stage, investigations and closure.

The successful candidate will be joining a friendly, hard-working and supportive team where attention to detail, a proactive attitude and strong people skills are highly valued.

THE ROLE

As Insolvency Case Administrator, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, supporting cases across CVLs, Administrations and MVLs. You will work closely with senior team members and play an important part in ensuring cases are progressed accurately, efficiently and professionally.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

Managing insolvency cases from initial handover through to appointment and investigation stagesWorking on pre-appointment, appointment and post-appointment case administrationHandling investigatory work, including CDDA-related mattersSupporting cases across CVLs, Administrations and MVLsPreparing case documentation and maintaining accurate recordsLiaising with directors, creditors and other relevant partiesSupporting and assisting with the training of junior team membersWorking independently to progress cases and identify potential billing opportunities

ARE YOU SUITABLE FOR THIS ROLE....

We're looking for someone with proven experience in corporate insolvency who is confident working across a varied caseload and able to hit the ground running.

You will ideally have:

Proven experience in corporate insolvencyStrong experience across CVLs and AdministrationsExperience with pre-appointment, appointment and investigatory workMVL experience would be beneficialStrong attention to detail and excellent organisational skillsThe ability to work independently and manage your own workloadA positive, team-focused attitudeConfidence supporting junior members of staffCPI qualification, or working towards this, would be advantageous

We are working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy and business advisory firm in the North West, currently looking to appoint an Insolvency Case Administrator to join their growing and collaborative team in Bolton.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid corporate insolvency experience who is looking to take the next step in their career, with scope to progress from senior level through to Assistant Manager.

THE ROLE
You will join a busy and supportive insolvency team, managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases from initial handover through to closure. The role requires someone who can hit the ground running and take ownership of cases across a variety of work types.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage insolvency cases from pre-appointment through to closureWork across a range of case types including CVLs, MVLs and AdministrationsUndertake investigative work, including CDDA-related tasksSupport the progression of cases through appointment and reporting stagesLiaise with stakeholders including creditors, directors and external partiesAssist with identifying potential asset realisations and billing opportunitiesSupport and mentor junior team members where required

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Proven experience within corporate insolvencyStrong exposure to pre-appointment, appointment and investigatory workExperience handling CVLs and Administrations (MVL exposure beneficial)Ability to manage workload independently and prioritise effectivelyHigh level of attention to detail and strong organisational skillsConfident communicator with a proactive and positive approachCPI qualified or working towards (desirable, not essential)
