Senior Accountant - Accountancy Practice

Butler Rose are recruiting for a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Bolton that's looking to appoint an experienced Senior Accountant. This position would suit someone with strong compliance skills, who also enjoys working closely with clients in an advisory capacity.

The role offers plenty of variety across a diverse portfolio, alongside opportunities to support junior staff and play a role in the firm's continued growth.

The role will involve:

Preparing and reviewing accounts and tax computations for a range of clients - including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and individualsEnsuring deadlines are met for HMRC and Companies House submissionsAdvising clients on tax planning, business structuring, asset protection, and software/systemsActing as the main point of contact for your clients and building strong long-term relationshipsWorking closely with the portfolio management teamSupporting and mentoring junior members of the teamGetting involved in business development and networking where appropriate

What we're looking for:

ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)A minimum of 10 years' experience within an accountancy firmConfident handling both compliance and advisory workExperience working with owner-managed businessesA proactive, professional approach with strong client communication skills
