This is a newly formed role that will contribute towards its ambitious growth plans.Reporting into a highly supportive Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the finance function, including financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.Key duties will include:Lead the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with the company's growth goals.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and re-forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning and tracking.Provide strategic insights to senior management on financial performance and key decision-making.Oversee monthly management accounts, ensuring timely, accurate reporting and providing clear commentary on performance.Work closely with senior leadership to provide insights into financial data and key business drivers.Preparation of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors.Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.Drive cross-department collaboration to ensure financial strategies align with business objectives.Cash flow management.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including VAT, taxation, and industry standards.Continuously seek improvements in financial processes, systems, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.The successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) who enjoys working in a fast-paced and progressive environment.
