The Role
As a Financial Accountant, you will be a key member of the Financial Accounting & Tax team, taking ownership of key processes to ensure control and compliance. Responsibilities include:
Leading the month-end timetable and ledger closures for assigned business units.Preparing and reviewing VAT returns and assisting with VAT-related queries.Reconciling and forecasting intercompany balances.Managing fixed asset registers, including creation, disposal, and depreciation of assets, along with annual verification.Preparing balance sheet reconciliations.Approving accounts payable corrections and reviewing weekly payment runs.Handling specific tax and regulatory requirementsLiaising with auditors and supporting Assistant Financial Accountants as required.Contributing to financial accounting and tax improvement projects.What We're Looking For
