A leading, top 15 accountancy practice is seeking a Personal Tax professional to join its growing Private Client Tax team in Peterborough. This is a flexible opportunity that can be tailored to suit the right individual, whether you're looking to step into an Assistant Manager position or are already operating at that level. The team advises a broad portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts and estates, offering exposure to both compliance and advisory work, including inheritance tax planning, trusts, succession planning and international tax matters. Full-time and part-time applicants will both be considered.
Role Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring a high standard of service.Prepare, review and submit personal tax returns.Advise clients on a broad range of personal tax matters.Work with high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, estates and offshore structures.Prepare and review IHT reporting, including IHT100 and IHT400 forms.Liaise with HMRC regarding enquiries, investigations and voluntary disclosures.Identify tax planning opportunities and contribute to advisory projects.Support succession planning, inheritance tax planning and trust-related work.Assist with business development and identify opportunities to grow client relationships.Mentor and support junior members of the tax team.Work alongside senior managers and partners on complex private client projects.Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through continued professional development.Personal requirements
