Whilst the role will be heavily focused on audit work there will be associated accounts and tax obligations to carry out, and for a diverse portfolio of SME to large companies.

Role Requirements -
Responsibility for leading audit assignments from planning through to completion.
Supervising a small audit team whilst at client site to include fully reviewing work completed
Perform analytical reviews of financial statements, identifying any audit-related issues.
Preparing year-end statutory accounts in accordance with FRS102-1a and draft tax computations.
Monitor the status of assignments, ensuring work is on track and budgets are adhered to.
Address any issues that arise during audit engagements and prepare files for review by Managers or Partners.
Communicate proactively with clients, resolving queries and offering recommendations for business improvements.

Person Requirements -
ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 4+ years' experience in external auditing working for a prominent UK based firm.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, auditing standards, corporation tax, VAT, and P11Ds as well as experience with consolidations.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to handle multiple assignments effectively.
Proven experience in mentoring teams and delegating tasks.
Proficient in the use of audit software such as Caseware, Alphatax, and CCH is advantageous
