Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

The Role
Butler Rose is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in the Torbay area for a Production Coordinator.
This is a permanent, Monday-to-Friday opportunity combining ERP/MRP system ownership, production coordination and continuous improvement within a busy manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will take a lead role in the administration, optimisation and ongoing improvement of the company's ERP system, ensuring accurate data, effective processes and reliable reporting across the business.
Working closely with Production, Operations and Engineering, you will also support production planning and scheduling, helping to identify bottlenecks, coordinate priorities and maintain smooth production flow and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, management and ongoing maintenance of the ERP system.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting across relevant departments.
- Work with teams across the business to understand operational requirements and identify potential ERP improvements.
- Monitor ERP system performance and coordinate system updates and upgrades where required.
- Provide ERP training and ongoing support to users across the business.
- Develop and maintain system processes, procedures and user documentation.
- Support the Production team with the release and monitoring of purchase orders, production schedules and work orders.
- Monitor production activity through the ERP system to help maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
- Work closely with Manufacturing Supervisors and Operations to identify potential production bottlenecks or delays.
- Support adjustments to production schedules to maintain workflow and on-time delivery.
- Help ensure information is effectively communicated between Production, Operations, Engineering and other relevant departments.
Person Specification
- Previous experience within process improvement, systems management, manufacturing, engineering or supply chain.
- Previous experience working with an ERP or MRP system.
- Good understanding of data accuracy, system processes and reporting.
- Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with data.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
Package
- £30,000 - £35,000 per annum - with some potential flexibility for a standout candidate
