£30,000 - £32,000 per annum

(12 month Fixed Term Contract)

We are currently seeking a HR Officer to join our client's Human Resources team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This is an opportunity to work in a beautiful environment in an established HR team with great benefits.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR practitioner to play a key role in delivering effective HR support across the organisation, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and contributing to a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing timely and accurate HR advice to staff and line managersSupporting employee relations matters including absence management, performance issues, investigations, grievances, and disciplinary hearingsGenerating reports and analysing HR data to inform decision-making.Assisting with onboarding & Right to Work checks.Managing staff probation processes and contractor safeguarding checksEnsuring compliance with HR policies and employment legislationResponding to general HR queries and maintaining up-to-date employee records via a HRISAssisting with letters and HR documentation

Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday) flexible working will be considered.

About You:

· 2 Years Experience in an HR role

· Organised with the ability to schedule your own day.

· Experience of employee relations & supporting line managers with the grievance and disciplinary process would be advantageous but not essential.

This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys variety in their work and is looking to gain valuable generalist experience.

We are delighted to continue working with our established & respected client to recruit a HR Advisor to join their Human Resources team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and capable HR professional to contribute to a dynamic and supportive HR department. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations and supporting staff and managers across a range of HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing timely and accurate HR advice to staff and line managersSupporting employee relations matters including absence management, performance issues, investigations, grievances, and disciplinary hearingsGenerating reports and analysing HR data to inform decision-makingManaging staff probation processes and contractor safeguarding checksEnsuring compliance with HR policies and employment legislationResponding to general HR queries and maintaining up-to-date employee records via a HRISAssisting with letters and HR documentation

Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday) - Part-time hours & flexible working will be considered. This role does not offer hybrid working.

About You:

We are looking for either an experienced HR professional with a solid understanding of employment law and best practice, or perhaps someone who is a HR officer, looking to gain HR advisory experience in a dedicated team. You'll need previous HR experience, handling a wide range of HR related matters and ideally have previous experience supporting hearings, or dealing with sickness, absence and safeguarding matters.
