  • Monitor shared inboxes, manage incoming requests and ensure enquiries are directed to the right person.
  • Handle sensitive employee and business information with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Provide reception and front-of-house cover when needed, including welcoming visitors, answering calls and managing post.
  • Help maintain an organised and welcoming office environment, coordinating office supplies, deliveries, refreshments and supplier arrangements.
  • Assist with meeting preparation, including room setup, refreshments and documentation.
  • Complete general administrative tasks such as data entry, scanning, filing and document management.
  • Collate and maintain commission-related data and supporting records, ensuring information is accurate and submitted within agreed timescales.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, provide administrative cover when required and undertake other reasonable duties appropriate to the role.

Skills and Experience

  • Good understanding of core HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, absence management, probation, training and employee departures.
  • A strong appreciation of confidentiality and the importance of handling personal and sensitive information appropriately.
  • Payroll experience.

  • A practical mindset and willingness to support general office administration alongside HR responsibilities.
  • An interest in further professional development, including a willingness to undertake CIPD Level 5 and/or Level 7 studies, with appropriate support available. Must be CIPD L3 currently.

In return, you will receive the following:

  • A salary of £32,000pa (some wiggle room for the right candidate)
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
