I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client, a small and friendly business based in Bradwell Abbey, who are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a stand-alone role where you'll manage the day-to-day accounts and work closely with the Managing Director and their external accountants.

What you'll be doing:

• Full end-to-end finance function from start through to trial balance.
• Processing invoices, payments, and expenses
• VAT returns
• Stock booking and processing
• Reconciling accounts and keeping financial records accurate
• Acting as the first point of contact for all finance-related queries
• Liaising with the MD and external accountancy firm

What they're looking for:

• Professional accountancy qualification or QBE
• Experienced with MS Excel and Sage Line 50
• Strong bookkeeping experience, including trial balance preparation
• Someone who's comfortable working independently in a small business environment
• Detail-oriented, organised, and reliable
• Good communication skills for working with management and external partners
