I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client, a small and friendly business based in Bradwell Abbey, who are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a stand-alone role where you'll manage the day-to-day accounts and work closely with the Managing Director and their external accountants.

What you'll be doing:

Full end-to-end finance function from start through to trial balance.Processing invoices, payments, and expensesVAT returnsStock booking and processingReconciling accounts and keeping financial records accurateActing as the first point of contact for all finance-related queriesLiaising with the MD and external accountancy firm

What they're looking for:

Professional accountancy qualification or QBEExperienced with MS Excel and Sage Line 50Strong bookkeeping experience, including trial balance preparationSomeone who's comfortable working independently in a small business environmentDetail-oriented, organised, and reliableGood communication skills for working with management and external partners
