 About the Role: 
 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join a well established, company. The business operates across a multi entity structure with national reach and significant turnover. This is a pivotal role within the senior finance team, offering strategic and operational oversight of financial operations and reporting. 
 This position will suit a hands on finance leader who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment and enjoys managing teams and streamlining complex processes. 
 
 Key Responsibilities: 
 * Oversee preparation of monthly and annual financial statements 
 * Consolidate group financials across multiple entities 
 * Deliver timely and accurate management reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) 
 * Monitor financial performance and provide strategic insights to senior leadership 
 * Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across the group 
 * Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls 
 * Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors 
 * Manage and mentor a finance team including accountants and bookkeepers 
 * Support senior leadership with business planning and investment decisions 
 * Oversee systems improvements and ensure data accuracy and compliance 
 
 What We're Looking For: 
 * Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) 
 * Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance role 
 * Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation, and controls 
 * Comfortable working in a complex, multi entity structure 
 * Excellent leadership and team management skills 
 * Advanced Excel skills experience with modern accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or similar) 
 * Strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines
