This is a hybrid working role that offers flexibility and the opportunity for internal progression over time.Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager and working in a team of finance professionals your key duties will include:Statutory reportingManagement accounts preparation and reviewCash reports and revenue forecastingLiaison with external auditors and other external bodiesPreparation and review of accounts on periodic basisPreparation of financial statementsWorking in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRSOther ad hoc duties as requiredThe successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical and systems skills. This is a fixed-term contract role for 12 months.Reporting into the senior finance team, this is a very important role for the organisation and responsibilities will include:Review of financial controls and processes to maximise efficiency and productivityDevelopment of process documentation, in line with compliance and best practiceWork with other stakeholders in finance and non-finance in a business partnering capacityAssist with ERP system implementation, ensuring smooth integration and identifying any areas for improvementRegular testing of financial systems and provide training to finance team on any updatesWork closely with external auditors, ensuring evidence for any changes made to controlsAdherence to regulatory compliance at all timesThe successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
