HR Advisor (Temp)
We're working with a well-established company that is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join its HR team on a rolling interim basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a HR professional who enjoys supporting managers across a broad range of people matters while contributing to wider workforce initiatives and continuous improvement projects. Working closely with the wider HR team, you'll provide pragmatic, solutions-focused HR support, ensuring people processes are delivered efficiently, consistently and in line with employment legislation and organisational policy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality HR advice and guidance across a range of employee relations matters.
- Managing and supporting employee relations casework, including absence management, disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Supporting managers with the consistent application of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
- Producing and analysing HR data to identify trends and support informed decision-making.
- Building effective stakeholder relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Supporting the adoption of new technologies and service improvements.
What we're looking for
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Previous experience in an HR Generalist or Advisor role
- Strong employee relations experience and confidence managing casework independently.
- Good knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience working with HR systems, reporting and people data.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification, or working towards it, would be advantageous.
- Ability to reliably commute to the office in Exeter
- Available on short notice of up to two weeks
