We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. You will be responsible for maintaining ledgers and will be a first point of contact for customers.
Duties
Producing sales ledger invoices on a weekly basisCredit ControlSetting up new customer accountsBank reconciliationsInput of purchase invoices onto Sage 50Supplier paymentsMaintain accurate financial records and documentationCollaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operationsSkills
A working knowledge of Sage 50 is essentialJob Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Accounts Payable Associate
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Associate working in our Finance Transactional Services Team based at the Crewe Head Office. The ideal candidate has experience of working in a large transactional volume and fast paced environment and an understanding of all functional aspects of stock management. A strong communicator with great relationship building skills with strong Excel/ERP skills.
The role:
Verifying and entered all stock receipts onto CODAS systems.Confirming delivered quantities for the previous day's deliveries.Verifying and entering 3rd party/misc. stock receipts onto CODAS systemsProcessing any stock adjustments onto CODAS systemsReconciling daily bulk stocks & investigating any discrepanciesBalancing the miscellaneous stock reconciliationReview and develop processes for continuous improvement and ensure sufficient controls are always in place.Skills and experience required:

Due to continued business expansion an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Payroll Team Leader to join a stable, friendly and busy payroll team based in the Nantwich, Cheshire area.
This position is working within an established payroll team and therefore, the successful candidate should possess solid end to end payroll processing expertise with experience within a similar payroll position processing multiple payrolls on a weekly/fortnightly/four weekly and a monthly basis. In addition, you should possess experience of managing/overseeing a small payroll team, delegating workloads and providing support as and when required.
Role Responsibilities
Work as part of a team with the daily operations of the payroll department ensuring timely and accurate processing of payrolls.
Assist in the management/supervision of a small team of payroll administrators, providing guidance, training and support to enhance skills and work performance and carry out responsibilities in the absence of the Payroll Manager/Payroll Assistant Manager.
Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislation, including tax regulations, national insurance and pension auto-enrolment.
Review and approve payroll calculations/adjustments.
Deal with payroll queries promptly bringing about swift resolution, thereby providing exceptional customer service.
Process PAYE, NI and RTI submissions
Process starters/leavers and attachment of earnings
Deal with maternity/paternity leave calculations, statutory payments/deductions
Liaison with the HMRC and external parties and prepare and submit monthly/annual HMRC returns
Person Specification
Ideally knowledge of payroll software including IRIS/STAR, SAGE and Xero
Experience within a similar full end to end payroll/payroll bureau role.
Excellent organisation skills able to time manage and prioritise
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
