Assembly Operator

Salary: £29,919.58 per annum (including 20% shift premium)

Shift Pattern:

• Alternating weekly shifts, Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm and 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Our client a world-renowned manufacturer with a site in Plymouth is seeking Assembly Operators to join their manufacturing team, assembling precision-engineered hydraulic pumps and motors within a fast-paced production environment.

The Role

• Assemble hydraulic pumps and motors in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Ensure products meet quality and health & safety standards.
• Test hydraulic units to customer specifications following appropriate training.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and on time.
• Achieve hourly production and KPI targets.
• Follow production control procedures at all times.
• Report machine breakdowns and production abnormalities.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Carry out daily quality and production checks.
• Provide flexibility to support production requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
• Ability to work towards production targets.
• Ability to follow written work instructions.
• Experience completing paperwork accurately and on time.
• Flexible and adaptable approach.
• Strong team player.
• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
