Due to continued growth year on year, they are now recruiting an "Audit & Accounts Senior".

Need to Know!

  • Audit & Accounts Senior (30% Audit, 70% Accounts)
  • Salary Negotiable dependent upon experience
  • Located in the Stockport and surrounding areas
  • 17-18% growth year on year with circa 80 staff currently
  • All roles advertised are due to growth not replacement

Person Specification:

  • As Audit & Accounts Senior, you will be ACCA or ACA qualified, with a minimum of five years' proven practice experience and be IT proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, Sage, Xero and Quickbooks. Experience of using CCH is preferable.
  • You will be experienced in the preparation and review of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies and will have knowledge of tax compliance issues.
  • You will have proven experience of audit work, preparation of cashflow forecasts & business plans. Experience in the preparation of management accounts would also be an advantage.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing management accounts and year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Liaising with clients to resolve queries
  • Ensuring all assignments are completed within the allocated budget
  • Working with the client to ensure deadlines are met
  • Leading Audit assignments as and when required
  • Drafting Corporation Tax computations and liaising with their tax department


Key Credentials
You'll be a team player with a passion for your profession and excellent interpersonal, planning and organisational skills. Likewise, the ability to impress and work well with their clients is key.
You should possess a good commercial mindset and ensure that you maximise the opportunity to sell the firm's full range of services.

Full clean driving licence is preferred but not essential.
