The Company Overview:

Your new role as Purchase Ledger Clerk:

Reporting to the Head of A.P, you will be working within a close knit team where you'll play a vital role within a constantly evolving company.

• Log, match, check and code supplier invoices on a timely basis
• Set up new suppliers setup on the Finance system
• Maintain effective ongoing supplier relationships
• Ongoing reconciliation of supplier accounts
• Prepare payment runs
• Act as first point of contact for relevant queries
• Electronic filing of invoices
• Open and distribute Finance post when required
• Monitor and respond to emails within the Finance inbox

The Experience & Qualifications Required:

The successful Candidate shall be experienced using an accounting system in a purchase ledger role, have a reasonable understanding of VAT including rates applicable for different products an excellent data accuracy. You will have great verbal and written communication skills with an ability to interact with people at all levels within the business and external suppliers. You shall possess the ability to plan, organise and work on multiple tasks simultaneously and independently, whilst being having the ability to meet tight deadlines in order to support the smooth functioning of the finance department, particularly for payment runs and month end close.
