The key accountabilities for the Master Scheduler will be the professional running of the site SIOP process, and leading the production planning team to manage the creation and execution of viable production plans in support of the SIOP plan. Duties include (but are not limited to):

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrating the forecast from Sales & Business Development into the demand plan
• Balancing demand to create a supply plan monitoring the factory capacities, inventory and customer requirements.
• Producing a master production schedules
• Running appropriate leading and lagging metrics on demand and supply to allow business performance to be monitored
• Conduct capacity planning
• Establish appropriate planning parameters
• Conduct scenario analysis, recovery plans, and coordinate New product introductions
• Track production to schedule to ensure meeting committed delivery dates. Lead efforts to analyse business data to ensure that inputs are accurate and reliable
• Conduct material availability analysis for proposed schedule changes

Core Requirements to be chosen for the role:

• Experience working as a Master Production Scheduler
• Demonstrable experience of leading and mentoring a team of planners
• Prior experience of working in a matrix organisation
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of standard enterprise resource planning (ERP)
• Able to work to financial and time sensitive constraints
• Have detailed knowledge of manufacturing planning, master production scheduling
