Management Accountant
Central London
£45,000 - 55,000
Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a well-known and established London based firm of chartered accountants, that as a result of significant growth, are eager to appoint an ambitious Management Accountant to complement the existing management accounts department.
Role Requirements -
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management information from client records in Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or Excel
Preparation of VAT returns from the same variety of client records
Prepare commentary explaining variances where necessary
Updating client records for agreed adjustments
Communicating with clients and their staff to organise flow of information and to resolve queries
Filing VAT returns Transfer of year end info into annual accounts software
Other ad hoc accounting assignments
Preparation of year end accounts for small businesses as applicable
Person Requirements -
At least 2+ years' experience in a similar management accountant or bookkeeper role (with a focus on management accounts) within UK practice
Ideally AAT qualified or CIMA/ACCA part qualified although those qualified by experience will be given equal consideration.
Exposure to more complex aspects such as consolidations, overseas entities, foreign currency and partial exemption would be highly desirable
Proficient in a range of accounting software such as XERO, Quickbooks, Sage 50
Excellent communication skills and can effectively build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
