Butler Rose is proud to be partnering with a well-established manufacturer based in the Newton Abbot area, currently seeking a dedicated and technically minded Production Operative to join their growing team.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, the Production Operative will be responsible for the manufacture and assembly of components and finished goods, in accordance with detailed work instructions and company standards. The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
Manufacture of finished goods in line with work instructions and/or training matrixReporting any necessary amendments to works order bill of materialsCollaborating with the technical team to identify alternative solutions in the event of product shortagesMonitoring consumable usage and stock levelsTesting and providing feedback on new work instructions for new productsConducting visual inspections before boxing itemsPrinting product QR labels when requiredSupporting fellow Production Operatives with product amendments or assembly adjustmentsEnsuring all tools and stock are packed away and work spaces are clean at the end of each dayCandidate Requirements
