Butler Rose are delighted to work with a progressive and friendly firm in Lancashire who are seeking to appoint a temporary to permanent Payroll Administrator to work on a 3 month contract that will then become permanent. Working as a part of a team of two, you will undertake full end to end payroll processing via SAGE, with experience of SAGE desirable to be able to hit the ground running. You will be responsible for your own multiple payrolls on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis, working as part of team dealing with 30 weekly and 200 monthly, processing starters/leavers, P45/P46s, pension, auto enrolment, EPS/FPS (training provided), SSP/SMP and lots more! Due to continued expansion we are seeking to appoint an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a friendly, progressive and professional payroll team based in Rochdale. This role requires an experienced, capable full end to end payroll professional with previous expertise in a similar payroll position processing both small and high volume payrolls at multiple intervals on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis. Role ResponsibilitiesProcess multiple frequency payrolls on weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis via SAGE payrollPAYE, NI and RTI submissions and liaison with HMRCUndertake pensions and auto enrolmentDeal with starters/leavers P45/P46 & P60s and PAYEDeal with SSP/SMP/SPPDeal with maternity/paternity leave calculations, statutory payments/deductionsProcess payments to employees, pension providersPrepare and submit monthly/annual HMRC returnsDeal with payroll enquiries in an effective manner and provision of payroll reports upgradesPerson SpecificationPrevious experience within a similar full end to end payroll processing role dealing with multiple interval payrolls on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly basis in a fast moving payroll teamExpertise in running small and large volume payrolls end to end weekly/fortnightly and monthlyIdeally knowledge of SAGE payroll systemKnowledge of Sage/Xero or Quickbooks would be advantageous (training provided)Good attention to detail and be a confident communicator, both written and over the telephoneBe able to work on own initiative and be a team player.
