Role Responsibilities
Prepare year-end accounts for a variety of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companiesCompile working papers and ensure all supporting documentation is accurate and completeAssist clients with day-to-day queries relating to accounts and tax mattersPrepare and submit VAT returns, as well as review bookkeeping recordsSupport the preparation of management accounts when requiredHelp clients make the switch to digital accounting software and remain compliant with MTD regulationsOffer occasional assistance with payroll processing tasksPersonal Requirements
Experience working within an accountancy practice environmentAAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent)Confident in preparing accounts and VAT returns, with solid bookkeeping knowledgeFamiliar with cloud-based accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or IRISOrganised, proactive and able to manage your own workload effectivelyA strong communicator who enjoys being part of a teamIf you're looking for a varied role in a friendly, forward-looking practice where your contribution truly counts, we'd love to hear from you.
