Interim Project Accountant Job - 6 months FTC - Remote Working
We're looking for an experienced Interim Project Accountant to play a critical role in preparing financial information ahead of a refinancing process. This is a hands-on, project-focused role where you'll prepare management accounts deliver detailed financial analysis and coordinate the flow of information required for financial due diligence.
You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, manage data across multiple sources, and ensure timely, accurate, and insightful reporting. Power BI experience is essential.
Key responsibilities
Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with reconciliations to statutory accounts.Produce historical P&Ls, reconciled to management accounts.Deliver detailed analysis, with reconciliations to management accounts.Coordinate and manage information requests, validating and presenting financial data in a clear, accurate, and accessible format.Collaborate with senior stakeholders.Present findings clearly to external advisers, primarily through Excel.About you
You're a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience, ideally in transaction services, corporate finance, or project accounting. You'll combine strong technical accounting expertise with advanced analytical and data modelling skills.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable managing tight deadlines, has exceptional attention to detail, and can communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
Essential skills and experience
Strong technical accounting and financial modelling expertise.Experience working with complex datasets and delivering applied financial analysis.Advanced Excel skills (complex modelling, scenario analysis, automation).Power BI expertise (data modelling, DAX, dashboard creation).Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
