Butler Rose is working with a great organisation in the Redruth area to recruit a Group Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid working role.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, key duties will include:

Managing and guiding a small finance teamProducing monthly management accountsOverseeing month-end and year-end closing activitiesCompleting and reviewing balance sheet reconciliationsPreparing and submitting VAT returnsSupporting the budgeting process and forecasting activitiesAssisting with the preparation of statutory financial statementsDriving process improvements and enhancing efficiencies where neededConfidently using Excel for financial analysis and reporting

The successful candidate will ideally be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) although those who are part-qualified or qualified by experience with relevant skills will also be considered.
