Job Title: Interim Finance Resource (Qualified Accountant) - 6-Month Contract

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive qualified accountant to join our client on a 6-month interim basis. This is a flexible role designed to provide immediate support across a variety of finance activities following a recent business transaction. The position requires someone who is adaptable, independent, and capable of delivering results with minimal oversight.

What You'll Do
As this is a broad role, responsibilities will shift in line with business priorities. Typical duties may include:
* Supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
* Assisting with post-transaction integration, carve-out, or transition activities.
* Preparing and reviewing reconciliations, journals, and financial statements.
* Ensuring compliance with internal controls and external reporting requirements.
* Contributing to ad hoc projects, analysis, and problem-solving across the finance function.
* Providing temporary cover for business-as-usual finance activities.

About You

We're looking for a qualified accountant who thrives in a dynamic and varied environment:
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
* Strong technical accounting skills, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and controls.
* Quick to pick up new systems, processes, and organisational structures.
* Hands-on, proactive, and pragmatic - comfortable rolling up your sleeves.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Adaptable and versatile, able to flex across multiple areas without a fixed remit.
