A well-established and growing accountancy practice based in Oldham, is looking to appoint an Accounts Manager for their Oldham office. This is an ideal role for someone with strong experience in accounts and client management who thrives in a team leadership position.

Managing a portfolio of small and medium-sized business clientsReviewing and finalising accounts prepared by the teamProviding feedback and mentoring to support team developmentTaking full ownership of client relationships, including regular meetings and communicationsSupporting the Partners with the day-to-day running of the departmentEnsuring high standards of work are maintained across the teamWorking to deadlines and internal budgets
Ideal experience:
ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)At least 5 years' experience within an accountancy practiceConfident reviewing work and managing client relationshipsStrong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 102AA proactive and approachable leader who enjoys developing others
This is a great opportunity for someone who either has existing management experience or someone who is a strong senior and is ready to step into a management role.
