Key Responsibilities:

Raising and issuing sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

Assisting with credit control tasks, including following up on overdue payments and resolving customer queries.

Requirements:

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple entities - The role reports into the Finance Director and some of the key responsibilities will include:-


* Prepare complex financial statements and supporting reports for senior leadership across different entities
* Support the delivery of the Annual Report and prepare financial briefings for key meetings and stakeholders
* Manage the relationship with external auditors, ensuring audit files are completed promptly, queries resolved, and timetables met
* Oversee multiple entity accounting and sustainability reporting
* Manage fixed asset accounting in line with IFRS, ensuring appropriate policies and estimates are applied (particularly in relation to leases)
* Collaborate closely with operational stakeholders on all accountancy matters


The ideal candidate will be:


* Chartered or qualified (ACA, FCA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, or FCCA) Ideally with 5+ year's post-qualified experience.
* Experienced in preparing complex financial statements and sustainability reporting under IFRS.
* Practice-trained or with experience in large, multi-site organisations.
* Operating previously at the level of Financial Reporting Manager, Financial Controller, Financial Accounting Manager, Senior Financial Accountant, or Group Accountant.
* Strong in Excel and finance systems experience

What We're Looking For:

Solid experience using Sage 50 Payroll and Sage 200 Accounts

Providing advice and guidance to clients on accounting and tax matters
