Role Responsibilities

End to end payroll processing: collect hours, calculate pay, deductions (PAYE, NI, pensions) and initiate BACS transfers.Maintain and reconcile payroll records, ensuring accuracy and statutory compliance.Support payroll software: data entry, system updates, reporting (payslips, P60/P45/P11D).Respond to payroll queries from employees, HMRC and other stakeholders.Undertake regular payroll audits and proactively resolve discrepancies.

Personal Requirements

Proven payroll experience.Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation (PAYE, NI, Auto?enrolment pensions).High numeracy, attention to detail, and integrity in handling sensitive data.Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g. Sage, Iris, Xero Payroll) and MS Excel.Excellent communication, customer service approach, and ability to meet deadlines.
