"My client is a unique South Lakes venue breaking the mould in weddings and events - and they are looking for an organised, enthusiastic assistant to help make the magic happen."
Location: Beautiful location - South Lakes (close to Ulverston, Windermere & Kendal)
Hours: Full-time (40 hrs, 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday) or Part-time may be considered.
Due to the nature of the business, you will be required to be present on weekends where bespoke weddings or events are taking place. Time off will be given back in Lieu.
Salary: £27,000 to £29,000 (or dependent on experience)

They are a unique and creative weddings & events business in the heart of the Lake District, known for breaking the mould when it comes to memorable celebrations and unforgettable experiences. From bespoke weddings to landmark private events and seasonal festivals, they are proud to create something truly special for every guest.
Their venue is set within one of the most picturesque parts of the Lakes, and we are looking for a motivated, organised, and enthusiastic Wedding & Events Planner to join their close-knit team.
The Role
This is a hands-on and varied role where no two days are the same. You'll play a key part in planning and delivering a diverse range of weddings and bespoke events while supporting the day-to-day running of the office.
As an Events Planner, you'll play an active role in both the planning and delivery of weddings and events, as well as the smooth running of the office. Your key duties will include:
Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries, whether by phone, email, or in person, and ensuring every client receives a warm and professional response.Coordinating bookings and reservations, keeping all client information accurate and up to date.Supporting the financial side of operations with tasks such as raising invoices, tracking payments, and updating records.Helping to shape guest experiences by working with suppliers, contractors, and partners to bring each event vision to life.Playing a hands-on part in event & wedding days - assisting with set-up, signage, guest services, and ensuring everything runs seamlessly.Keeping office systems and databases organised so that contracts, schedules, and documentation are always accessible and accurate.Contributing to marketing and communications, such as updating the website, assisting with social media, and supporting promotional activity.Providing general day-to-day administrative support to the team where neededAbout You
We are seeking someone with strong organisational skills and excellent communication abilities. Previous experience in events, weddings, hospitality, and customer service would be beneficial, but above all we are looking for the right attitude - someone with energy, enthusiasm, and the confidence to get stuck in. Strong customer service experience is an absolute must as you will be dealing with both corporate clients and the public.
