Butler Rose Practice is pleased to be working with a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants located in Wolverhampton City Centre. This respected firm supports a diverse portfolio of SME clients, sole traders, and partnerships, and due to continued growth, they are looking to welcome an Accounts Assistant or Accounts Semi-Senior to their team.
This is a hands-on opportunity that offers exposure to a broad range of responsibilities. You will work closely with senior staff and clients while also playing a key role in mentoring junior team members and supporting the firm's collaborative, team-oriented approach.

What you'll be doing:
Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies (FRS 102a and FRS 105)Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and LLPsCompleting corporate, personal and partnership tax returnsPreparing VAT returns and assisting with ad hoc bookkeepingProducing management accounts (experience in this area would be an advantage)
What we're looking for:
Strong IT skills including Excel and cloud-based platforms such as Xero and SageExperience using accountancy and taxation softwareA proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and developExcellent communication skills and a genuine interest in working closely with clients
