Are you a meticulous finance professional with a passion for numbers and a strong team spirit? Butler Rose is delighted to be supporting a respected and forward-thinking business in their search for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their growing team based in Callington, Cornwall.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a collaborative, values-driven environment, where people are truly at the heart of the organisation. You'll be a key player in ensuring smooth and timely payment processes across the group, contributing to excellent supplier relationships and financial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-cycle Accounts Payable processing, including invoice examination, verification, and reconciliationManagement of aged creditors and resolution of invoice discrepanciesSupplier statement reconciliations and intercompany transaction processingProviding exceptional service to both internal teams and external suppliersSupporting the preparation and review of payment filesAssisting with archiving and general administrative duties as requiredLiaising with stakeholders across Finance, IT, and OperationsAbout You:
Previous experience within Accounts Payable or a finance environment (desirable)GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and MathsProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelExperience with Microsoft AX would be advantageousA strong team player with excellent communication skillsSelf-motivated, flexible and able to work under pressureCommitted to delivering excellent customer service and taking ownership of tasksWhy Apply?
