The Company Overview:

Butler Rose have partnered with a local construction company within easy commute from the M6 and M55 that have a well renowned reputation in the market. At a time of exceptional growth, they now seek to employ a Purchase Ledger Clerk/supervisor to join their already experienced team.

Your new role as the Purchase Ledger Clerk:

• Matching, checking and coding invoices
• Working out VAT payments
• Making payments via BACS and cheques
• Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
• Reconciliation of supplier statements
• Filing invoices
• Managing petty cash
• Data entry
• Being first point of contact for all relevant enquiries
• Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers
• Knowledge of Accruals and Pre-payments is an advantage

The Experience & Qualifications Required:

The successful Candidate will have exceptional attention to detail skills, whilst possessing at least 2years' experience in Purchase Ledger. You shall ideally have experience of the construction sector or have operated in a department processing invoices of large value with many detailed purchases. The business also operate Sub Contractor ledgers.
