Job description
Butler Rose is working with a well established charity in Exeter to recruit a HR Advisor to join their friendly and professional team.

This is an important role where you will provide high quality advice on all areas of HR to support the business and contribute to its objectives.

Main duties will include:

• Generating effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders to enable the provision of high level HR support.
• Support and review regular HR management information such as sickness & employee retention
• Providing mentoring support to a HR Assistant
• Identify and make improvements to HR systems and processes and continually evaluate these whilst ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
• Perform essential tasks such as contractual changes and processing starters and leavers
• Promote and support well-being initiatives within the organisation
• Provide managers with general payroll support
• Co-ordinate and develop the delivery of appropriate training and development opportunities to staff
• Take the lead of HR projects as required
• Involvement with staff recruitment and selection

The successful candidate will be able to build excellent working relationships with a wide range of individuals at various levels and have up to date knowledge of HR best practice. You will have CIPD level 5 or equivalent experience and be comfortable supporting the successful completion of complex change management projects. Previous charity experience is beneficial but not essential.
