Job description
Purchasing Manager needed for new role with growing Exeter organisation. Your role will be wide ranging in scope and see you manage the purchasing function for the business, focusing on specific areas of purchasing strategy, including cost reduction, inventory levels and current supplier delivery. Your duties include (but are not limited to):

Duties include:

• Evaluate the current purchasing process to identify areas for improvement
• Supplier relationship building
• Negotiation of supplier contracts and management of performance metrics
• Forecasting demand to ensure delivery of purchasing strategy
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Work with the wider organisation to ensure purchasing strategy is aligned

To be chosen for the role you must possess the following experience:

• In depth experience as a purchasing professional
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Highly organised in time management
• Highly analytical
• Passion to develop and maintain sustainable relationships.
• IT literate with experience of MS Office (particularly Excel)

£30,000 - £40,000 + Benefits DOE
