Are you a Payroll superstar? Do you love processing payroll and have the skills to train and develop others? Then we would like to hear from you.

Our industry based client is looking for a Payroll Senior, to support their growing employee payroll and ensure they are paid correctly. In this position you will be the senior payroll co-ordinator in the team, and responsible for team delegation and training. You will need to be able to work under pressure and be ready to step up and supervise a small team.

The client offers a friendly team to work in and the opportunity to build your CV by handling a large weekly payroll.

The position includes:

• Maintenance and checking of daily time and attendance system
• Maintenance of employee records on the Payroll & HR system
• Maintaining wage records for employees
• Carry out calculations of pay and deductions
• Ensuring correct and accurate processing of payroll
• Absence management & reporting
• Production of electronic payslips and P45’s
• Process hourly paid starters and leavers
• Produce weekly and monthly reports for senior management
• Dealing with HMRC & External agencies
• Processing annual bonuses.
• Providing pension figures, starters and leavers
• Processing Year End and P60’s
• Team training
• Extensive use of excel and a HR Payroll Program

You will need:

• Weekly payroll and volume experience would be advantageous
• Good Excel skills
• Great organisation skills and the ability to work to deadlines
