Client Manager
Reading based
Hybrid / flexible working
£35,000 - £5,000 per annum
An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Client Manager / Client Accountant to join a well-known and respected accountancy firm in Reading. This is a modern practice which can offer a collaborative working environment along with excellent benefits and progression.
This role will manage a portfolio of diverse clients, completing year end and management accounts preparation, VAT & CIS returns, persona tax self-assessments, and corporation tax.

Duties:
* Manage a portfolio of diverse, complex accounting clients.
* Responsible for year end and management accounts preparation, VAT and CIS returns, and personal tax self-assessments.
* Conduct account review meeting with clients - both face to face and virtually.
* Answer financial queries relating to year end accounts and tax planning.
* Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Requirements:
* Ideally you will be full ACCA / ACA qualified but nearly qualified will be considered dependent on previous experience.
* Proven experience in a client management role within a chartered accountancy practice is essential.
* Experience manager a diverse portfolio of accounting clients - Preparing year end accounts
* Experience dealing directly with clients to answer financial queries and conducting review meetings.
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
* Proactive and solution-focused approach to client challenges.
