Senior Accountant - Top 40 firm
Stevenage, Hertfordshire
£45,000 to £53,000

Butler Rose Public Practice are proud to be working in partnership with an ever growing and highly successful top 40 accounting firm based in Stevenage, that are now seeking an experienced and qualified (ACA/ACCA) Senior Accountant to compliment their existing team.

Role Requirements -

* Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, and providing a wide range of accounting services, including preparing of year-end financial statements, managing tax returns, and overseeing bookkeeping.
* Reviewing the work of junior staff members and providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing them with excellent service and advice.
* Keeping up to date with changes to accounting standards and regulations and ensuring that clients are informed and compliant.

Person Requirements -

* Qualified (ACA/ACCA) with at least 3 years experience in a similar senior accountant role working for a UK based accountancy practice.
* Strong technical accounting skills, including a good understanding of accounting standards and regulations.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to manage a portfolio of clients and deliver high-quality accounting services in a timely manner.
* Experience of reviewing the work of junior staff members and providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
* Proficient I the use of various accountancy software such as CCH, IRIS, XERO, Sage, Quickbooks.
