Semi-Senior Accountant (Accounts & Audit)
Preston
Up to £32,000
Butler Rose are working alongside a well-established accountancy practice in Preston, who are seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in both accounts preparation and audit, with full training provided on the audit side.
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing accounts for a variety of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. The role will also include assisting with audit engagements, and you'll receive comprehensive training to develop your skills in this area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of accounts and financial statements.
* Assisting with audit assignments.
* VAT returns and bookkeeping.
* Liaising with clients and managing queries.
About You
* AAT Qualified or part-qualified in ACA/ACCA.
* Strong accounts preparation skills and the desire to learn audit.
* Experience within an accountancy practice is essential, ideally 3 years plus.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work well within a team and independently.
