Accounts Senior
Leyland
Up to £38,000
Butler Rose are working with a brilliant firm of accountants in Leyland who are on the look for an Accounts Senior to join their team. This is a well established firm with a friendly team who have been working at this firm for a number of years. The firm treat their staff really well, as reflected in the lengths of service here.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage client accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports.
* Provide expert advice on accounting and taxation matters.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their unique financial needs and goals.
* Supporting junior members of staff, reviewing completed work and assisting in training of juniors when necessary.
Requirements:
* ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent (or close to qualified)
* Proven experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice - ideally over 4 years.
* Strong technical skills in accounting and taxation.
* Excellent communication and client management skills.
* A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
