Butler Rose Public Practice are delighted to be working with a highly respected Top 40 accountancy firm with superb offices based in North London in the recruitment of a Client Accountant to complement their existing Business Services team.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of accounting and business advisory services, developing their professional and technical expertise through both structured training and practical experience.

Role Requirements -
Prepare year-end financial statements and supporting working papers for manager/partner review.
Manage workload to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of accuracy.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Contribute to business development and team performance.
Monitor project timelines and deliver work within agreed parameters.
Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce review points.

Person Requirements -
AAT qualified or part / fully qualified ACCA or ACA with at least 3 years' experience working for a reputable UK based accounting firm in the capacity of Client/Senior Accountant or Semi-Senior Accountant.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Confident accounting software user with a willingness to expand technical skills.
Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Job Summary:

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our client's products by leading and managing a small team. Who are we looking for:

You will be ideally ACCA or CIMA qualified and at a minimum a studying finalist

Have proven experience in an SME environment with hands-on, varied responsibility across the full finance function

Strong technical accounting knowledge and excellent Excel and Sage 50 skills

A proactive problem-solver who thrives on improving systems and controls

Confident communicator, able to work closely with senior management and external stakeholders
