Butler Rose is partnering with our large Facilities Management client based in London to recruit a Treasury Operations Assistant to join their team. This is a 9-month contract role, offering hybrid working and paying £14.80 per hour PAYE.
Location: Hybrid working (Tuesday & Thursday), working from home the rest of the week
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (35 hours per week)
DBS: Standard DBS required
Start Date: ASAP
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong administration background and good numeracy skills who is looking to develop a career within finance and treasury. The role could suit a recent graduate or someone looking to gain valuable experience within a finance environment.
You will support the Treasury team with payment processing, banking administration, reporting and general treasury operations, while ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Process manual payments accurately and within agreed timescales, maintaining payment logs and monthly reporting.
Monitor and manage payment and Treasury mailboxes, responding to queries promptly.
Support banking administration, including bank mandates, banking access, system set-ups and mandate reviews.
Assist with Treasury Management System processes, including the development and implementation of new payment processes.
Monitor Dun & Bradstreet alerts and take appropriate follow-up action.
Maintain Treasury task logs and support the ongoing improvement of processes and procedures.
Provide general administrative support to the Treasury team as required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, accurate and comfortable working with numbers. You may have previous finance or administration experience, or be a recent graduate looking to build your career in finance.
Skills & Experience
Strong administration and numeracy skills finance or accounting experience is beneficial.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong organisational, communication and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities.
Professional approach when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
