Trainee AccountantWolverhampton£21,000 - £24,000Butler Rose Public Practice is thrilled to support our client, a highly regarded and well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Wolverhampton, in their search for a Trainee Accountant to join their growing team.Role Responsibilities:Assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements under FRS102-1A and FRS105 for a diverse range of clients, including LTD companies, sole traders, and partnerships.Prepare corporation tax computations (CT600) and submit them to HMRC.Prepare quarterly VAT returns for clients.Produce management accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis.Provide support on audit assignments as required by the partners.Candidate Requirements:At least 1 year of experience within practice, performing a range of accounting duties.AAT qualified, or in the later stages of studying for AAT/ACCA.Experience with accounting software packages, ideally including IRIS, Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.This is an exciting opportunity for someone with practice experience to advance their career while gaining exposure to a wide range of accounting tasks.
