We are seeking a proactive and organised Finance Officer to join an established team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong finance administration skills who enjoys working in a varied, hands-on role within a supportive environment.
This position is ideal for someone who has achieved AAT Level 2 (or equivalent) and has experience in day-to-day finance operations. The role focuses on transactional finance and does not include management accounts or profit and loss reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficientlyRaising and processing sales invoicesData entry and maintaining accurate financial records using Scribe accounting softwareBasic bookkeeping and reconciliation tasksManaging petty cashProcessing payroll and maintaining payroll recordsAssisting with general finance administration as requiredEnsuring financial records are accurate and up to dateAbout You
You will have:
AAT Level 2 qualification (minimum)Previous experience in a finance or accounts administration roleGood bookkeeping knowledge and strong numerical skillsExperience with invoice processing and financial data entryPayroll processing experienceExcellent attention to detail and accuracyGood organisational and communication skillsConfidence using accounting software (experience with Scribe is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided)Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelWhat We Offer
