Contract: Temporary (3- 6 Months) with the potential to become permanent
Hours: Full-time
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join a friendly and growing business on a temporary basis for approximately six months. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied finance role, with the possibility of securing a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing purchase and sales ledger invoicesBank reconciliationsManaging accounts payable and accounts receivableAssisting with credit controlProcessing payments and allocating receiptsSupporting month-end proceduresMaintaining accurate financial recordsAssisting with VAT returns where requiredGeneral finance administration and ad hoc support to the finance teamAbout You:
Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeping roleGood working knowledge of accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooksStrong Excel skillsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and manage prioritiesAAT qualification or studying towards AAT would be advantageous but is not essentialWhat's on Offer:
