Senior Practice Manager

Salary up to £60,000 (DOE)

Butler Rose is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing UK accountancy firm to recruit a Senior Practice Manager for its Yorkshire team.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career and play a key role in shaping the future success of an established practice.

You'll take a lead role in strengthening the practice at site level, driving operational excellence, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring clients continue to receive an exceptional level of service.

Role Requirements -

Provide strong leadership and direction across the practice.Take overall responsibility for day-to-day site operations and performance.Lead, coach and develop the team, creating a high-performance culture.Manage employee performance, development and engagement.Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients.Support client retention, growth and business development.Ensure consistently high standards of service and technical quality.Maintain effective governance, risk management and compliance processes.Ensure the practice operates in accordance with relevant UK accounting, tax and regulatory requirements.Identify opportunities to improve processes, technology and ways of working.Monitor operational and financial performance against agreed objectives.Work closely with senior leadership to deliver the wider growth strategy.Act as a visible ambassador for the firms values and client-first approach.

Role Requirements -

ACA, ACCA qualifiedSolid and well-rounded experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.Demonstrable experience leading and managing teams.Experience of coaching, developing and managing employee performance.Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP.Good understanding of Companies Act requirements and HMRC compliance.
