A well-established and growing accountancy practice is seeking a senior AAT-qualified accountant to join their expanding team in either their King's Lynn or Wisbech offices. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality service to a varied client base including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Role Responsibilities
Prepare year-end accounts for a broad portfolio of clients.Support VAT returns, bookkeeping and management accounts preparation.Assist with tax compliance and liaise with HMRC where required.Use cloud-based platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.Build strong client relationships and provide day-to-day advice.Support junior team members and contribute to internal training and development.Personal Requirements

This firm pride themselves on their service to their clients, they are a small firm of around 15 staff who are all very friendly.
The role
The candidate would be responsible for a client bank of 150-200 clients and would need to demonstrate an ability to handle and balance this workload whilst maintaining excellent communication levels with the clients and delegating matters to the team as appropriatePreparation / review of annual accounts for all sizes of businesses/charitiesPreparation of management accounts at monthly / quarterly intervals for growing clientsPreparation of complex VAT returns using the various different scheme availablePreparation of Corporation tax and Income tax computations and returnsManaging, training and providing support / feedback for junior staffPromotion of the firm's services where possible including representing the firm at business networking / other eventsActively developing and proactively contributing to a professional working environment
Ideal Experience:
