Private Client Tax Advisory Manager
Birmingham (Hybrid)
Salary up to £62,000 (DOE)

Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting one of our clients who's got an opportunity for a Private Client Tax Advisory Manager. Reporting directly to the Private Client Tax Partner, this is a technically focused role responsible for managing and delivering both tax advisory projects and personal tax compliance work. You will oversee the quality of advice provided, whether delivered directly or through team members, ensuring high standards across all engagements.

Role Requirements -

Leading and delivering private client tax advisory projects, preparing complex advisory reports for partner reviewManaging a portfolio of primarily advisory clients, overseeing compliance and ensuring timely, accurate returnsSupporting the development and growth of the Private Client advisory offeringProviding formal and informal training and mentoring to junior team members and traineesKeeping up to date with current tax legislation, briefing the team, and generating business development ideasManaging client relationships and identifying opportunities to add valueContributing to business development through seminars, networking, and industry publicationsWriting articles, presentations, and technical literature to enhance the firm's profile and generate workWorking collaboratively with other senior Private Client, Business Services, and Corporate Tax managers on cross-department initiatives

Personal Requirements -

Significant experience in private client tax advisory and complianceStrong technical knowledge across a broad range of private client areasExperience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality adviceProven ability to mentor and develop junior team membersExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing advisory reports and technical publicationsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesA proactive, commercially minded approach to identifying opportunities and delivering valueA collaborative and team-oriented mindset with a commitment to diversity and inclusion
