Butler Rose is recruiting a management accountant for a well-established organisation in Newton Abbot on a fixed-term basis for 15 months. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and statutory reporting, while partnering with operational stakeholders to support business performance. This is a hybrid working role with 1-2 days required in the office each week and a flexible working environment.
Key responsibilities:
Production of monthly management accounts and commentaryBudgeting, forecasting and financial planningBalance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepaymentsKPI and performance reportingYear-end accounts, audit and VAT supportFinancial business partnering across the organisationProcess improvement and financial controlsAbout you:
Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or part-qualified / qualified by experienceStrong management accounting backgroundExcellent Excel and analytical skillsConfident communicating with non-finance stakeholdersProactive, organised and commercially mindedThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-led organisation and contribute to a significant transformation project while working within a supportive and collaborative finance team.
